VISION: To create economic growth in Rockingham County by supporting business activity through technology applications and managerial support.

	Executive Director Mark Wells		Entrepreneurial Development Coordinator Shawn Gorman
A Rockingham County native, Mark built his technology expertise while working for the City of Wilson, NC. He left North Carolina to pursue a graduate business education in Minnesota and after graduation worked for a global marketing and hospitality corporation. There his role focused on integrating technology into marketing strategy. He is tasked with a similar objective in Rockingham County, to integrate technology with small businesses that need assistance.		Shawn has over 30 years in the textile, plastics and chemicals industries; he is experienced in manufacturing, sales and marketing, strategic planning and quality management. For the past 12 years he has operated businesses and counseled business owners. As Entrepreneurial Development Coordinator for RCBTC, Shawn will provide free and confidential business counseling to current businesses, business startups and aspiring entrepreneurs. To make these services available on a large scale, Shawn will be calling on clients throughout Rockingham County.
	Technology Coordinator Vacant		Administrative Assistant Gwen Taylor
		A product of higher education where she served as Executive Secretary to the President of Onondaga Community College in upstate New York, Gwen brings a wealth of administrative experience to Rockingham County. Here she provides administrative services to staff and clients, while also managing the RCBTC’s income and expenses and lease agreements for the Rockingham Community Kitchen.
